Quick start

3 steps to get your fleet on Fleetie.

Create your account

Sign up with your email address. No card needed for your free first month — you get the full Fleetie Standard plan with everything unlocked.

Register your company

Enter your company name and details. This creates your tenant — all your drivers, vans, and rotas live under this company.

Add your partners, team & vans

Set up the partners you deliver for and their depots and locations, then add drivers and vans — a registration is all a van needs to start. Coming from spreadsheets? Fleetie support will bring your data across with you.

Building your first rota

Create a weekly rota, assign drivers to routes, set activities per depot, and publish to your team.

  • Open Rota Management from the dashboard
  • Select a week and partner location
  • Assign activities to each driver for each day
  • Hit Publish — choose all drivers or select individuals
  • Drivers receive a push notification and can accept or decline

Managing your fleet

Add vehicles, track status changes, and keep on top of MOT and service dates.

  • Go to Vans from the sidebar
  • Add a van with registration, make, model, and location
  • Or send us your fleet spreadsheet — we'll import it for you
  • Change status to Active, VOR, or Inactive with a note
  • Every change is logged in the audit trail

Setting up GPS tracking

Part of the GPS fleet tracking bundle (from £10/month +VAT). Connect Datalive hardware (£10 one-off) or use the Fleetie iOS tracker app on company phones. Android device tracking is coming soon.

  • Go to Tracking > Settings
  • Enter your Datalive API credentials
  • Fleetie syncs your vehicles automatically
  • Open the Live Map to see real-time positions
  • Use Journey History to review past routes by date

Onboarding drivers

Add drivers to your company and get them set up with their own portal.

  • Go to Team from the sidebar
  • Click Add User and enter their details
  • Bringing a whole team across? We can import your driver list for you
  • Drivers receive an invite to claim their account
  • Once claimed, they can view schedules, request leave, and accept routes

Notifications setup

Enable push notifications so your team stays in the loop.

  • Drivers go to their Profile > Notifications
  • Allow browser notifications when prompted
  • Toggle notification types: routes published, updated, cancelled, driver responses
  • Notifications work on mobile and desktop browsers

Bringing your data across

Moving from spreadsheets or another system? Fleetie support brings your data across with you, on request.
