Fleetie is on Google Play: the driver app for Android

The Fleetie app for Android is live on Google Play. Drivers get the same app iPhone users have, with the same account, and here is how to move across from the web app.

The Fleetie app for Android is now on Google Play. It is the same app iPhone and iPad drivers have had since September, so every driver on your fleet can now have Fleetie in their pocket, whatever phone they carry.

What drivers get

The Android app does everything the iPhone app does:

  • Rota. Their shifts, the days marked TBC, and the routes published to them, with a push notification when something needs an answer.
  • Checks. Vehicle inspections done on the phone, against the van they have been assigned.
  • Messages. The same conversations they have on the web, with new messages arriving as push notifications that open straight into the thread.
  • Push notifications. Routes published, updated or cancelled, with per-type toggles so each driver controls what they see.

Drivers sign in with the account they already have. Nothing moves and nothing needs setting up again.

Moving from the web app

Many Android drivers added Fleetie to their home screen as a web app. That still works, but once they have the Android app they should remove the old home-screen icon, or they will get every alert twice. Fleetie now points Android users at Google Play from their dashboard, so most will find the app on their own.

Get it

Search for Fleetie on Google Play, or use the link at the bottom of this page. Drivers need Android 8.0 or later. If you are an operator and your drivers are not on Fleetie yet, the getting started guide walks through adding them.
